The Viewer role is a Premium feature in Cadasio that allows users to view published projects without any editing permissions.
Viewers cannot modify projects, layouts, or assets. They can only log in and access the projects they are authorised to see. This makes the role ideal for colleagues who need access to instructions or presentations but should not make changes.
Common examples include:
- Shop floor staff
- Assembly line workers
- Training participants
- Internal stakeholders reviewing content
How Viewer access works
When a user with the Viewer role logs into the dashboard, they see a list of published projects they are permitted to access. This ensures they only see relevant content and nothing more.
Because access requires login, your projects are not publicly available to anyone with a link.
Managing access per project
Viewer permissions can be controlled on a per-project basis.
This allows you to:
- Share some projects publicly
- Restrict others to internal viewers only

Applying workspace-wide restrictions

- Open Security
